The Port Huron Police Department invites the community to join us in honoring the heroes of September 11, 2001.
This year’s Annual 9/11 Memorial Ceremony will take place on Thursday, September 11th, 2025 at 9:00 AM at the International Flag Plaza, located under the Blue Water Bridge.
On that tragic day, nearly 3,000 lives were lost—including hundreds of first responders who ran toward danger to save others. Each year, we gather together with multiple first responder agencies to reflect, remember, and pay tribute to those brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice.
The ceremony is open to the public, and we encourage community members to attend and stand alongside police, fire, EMS, and other first responders as we pause to honor the lives lost and reaffirm our commitment to never forget.
