Movie Barf Monday is a film night dedicated to screening English-friendly films in Prague's Edison Filmhub. Every film features an introduction from film presenter Ryan Keating as well as a discussion with a special guest.
✨ Nora (Renate Reinsve) reunites with her father after many years. Charismatic and once-famous director Gustav (Stellan Skarsgård) has written for her the lead role in a film that is supposed to be the culmination of his career. When Nora refuses to work with him, he casts eager Hollywood actress Rachel Kemp (Elle Fanning) in her place. A series of funny and painfully honest encounters ensues, during which Nora and her sister Agnes come to terms with complicated family relationships and the unexpected presence of an American star. Following the success of THE WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD, Joachim Trier returned to Cannes with a sensitive comedy-drama that won the Grand Prix.
