Join us for a special pairing event featuring an exquisite selection of Syrah wines, meticulously chosen to complement a curated menu of premium meats from the renowned Bavaria Sausage in Fitchburg. Their products were recently judged according to traditional standards by German representatives from Deutscher Fleischer-Verband (DFV) and American Association of Meat Processors (AAMP) at a prestigious competition in Ames, IA, where they received 49 medals and the “Cup of Honour," which not only recognizes the excellence of specific products, but also the overall quality of a producer.
We met with Bavaria owner Scott Stowell to find the perfect meats to pair with the complex, fruit-forward, and often peppery character of some of the world's greatest Syrah.
