Whether you're looking to diversify your bachata repertoire, find new ways to express yourself and the music, or learn how to better establish connection, this class will give you the fundamental techniques and movements to help meet your goals.
No partner necessary! Just bring your openness, socks or clean bottom dance shoes, and a water bottle!
It is helpful to have a basic knowledge of Bachata, but not necessary.

What to expect:
Sensual Bachata Foundations: We'll start by laying down the foundations of Sensual Bachata. Our instructors will guide you through the basic steps, body movements, and partner connection techniques that are specific to this style.
Body Awareness and Isolations: Sensual Bachata is all about body awareness and isolating different parts of your body to create smooth and captivating movements. In this class, we'll focus on developing your body isolation skills, allowing you to move your hips and torso independently and sequentially. You'll learn how to control and articulate your movements, adding depth and sensuality to your dance.
Sensual Partner Connection: Sensual Bachata is characterized by close and intimate partner connection. In this class, you'll learn how to establish a strong and clear connection with your partner through appropriate body contact, leading and following concepts, and technique-driven partner work. We'll teach you how to communicate non-verbally, creating a harmonious dance connection that amplifies the sensuality of the dance.
