Meet me at the intersection of club culture and conscious spaces.

Sensory Sessions is back with A Conscious House Party.

This one is for those that want to connect to the power of music and movement, but don’t want to pull up at the club. For those who don’t want to be another face in the crowd, but want to be seen and known. For those who want to explore what dance and music have been used for since humans arrived on the scene — conscious connection, to self, to Something More, to each other. I am more and more obsessed with the ability we have to drop into deep states of connection and consciousness using only music (repetitive, melodic trance in this case) and our bodies.

You can expect a variety of herbal drinks that gently open the heart and psyche — cacao and kava — as well as a small selection of natural wines. There will be a licensed massage therapist offering a little TLC to those who need it, and a trance-inspired DJ set featuring some of my favorite global electronic artists. The set will be designed to drop into and explore, much like you would a yoga class or show or a sound bath. Given enough time moving with this music, you may notice yourself in a sort of flow state, one where clarity and connection in body and mind have the space to land. No expectation, just an exploration, and an opportunity to be together.
