Sensory Friendly Time presented by Amanda Russell-Brown is offered on the third Saturday of every month from 4:30 to 8pm as part of Micron STEAM Explorers Inclusion Programs.
Sensory Friendly Time is a great place to socialize safely with other parents with children on the spectrum. At SFT, sounds are turned down, air compressors are turned off, and lighting is adjusted to accommodate learners with sensory-processing difficulties. The extended hours also help reduce wait times and crowd sizes. ?
Sensory Friendly Time events are FREE for members and $5 for nonmembers. (Personal Aids are always welcome for free)
Join us every Sensory Friendly Time for a 25-minute ASL-interpreted National Grid ExploraDome Show: $6 per person at 5:30 pm
Complimentary sensory kits containing various items are always available to sign out from the Science Shop during regular museum hours and Sensory Friendly Time. ?
Thank you to our additional sponsors: Arc of Onondaga, Baldwinsville Rotary Solvay Bank, Laurie Bean-Taishoff, UA Local 81, and Community Bank
