Join us outside of public hours for a sensory-friendly morning to celebrate summer at the U.S. Botanic Garden. You can visit a Discovery Cart to learn about the plant science behind chocolate or get hands-on with an interactive pot-a-plant activity.
Intended Audience: Sensory Friendly. Sensory Friendly: Sensory friendly events provide museum access to individuals with autism, cognitive and sensory processing disabilities and their families by offering early/late entrance for registered participants, pre-visit materials, and a take-a-break space. These programs are coordinated to facilitate a welcoming experience.
