Sensory Friendly Egg Hunt at Wistariahurst Museum

 Wistariahurst Museum is egg-static to bring back our Sensory-Friendly Egg Hunt for a third year! Designed for families with sensory sensitivities, this festive egg hunt focuses on gentle exploration and enjoyment so every bunny feels comfortable and welcome. This year’s egg hunt will take place indoors throughout the halls of Wistariahurst. Weather permitting, outdoor games and activities will add some egg-stra fun to the event. Each child can gather eggs and exchange them for prizes ranging from candy to fidget toys. Hop to it and register for one of the available time slots. Registration is available for free on Wistariahurst’s Eventbrite page. 

Families can sign up for timed entry to ensure smooth check-in between 2:00 and 4:00pm on Sunday, April 4th. Families are welcome to enjoy the egg hunt any time during their timeslots, and each time slot will be limited to 10 families. If you are late for your time slot, don’t worry! We still encourage all registrants to attend even if they are running late. Families are also welcome to explore the gardens and enjoy outdoor games, weather permitting, during the event.

¡El Museo Wistariahurst está encantado de volver a organizar nuestra «Búsqueda de huevos adaptada a las necesidades sensoriales» por tercer año consecutivo! Diseñada para familias con sensibilidades sensoriales, esta festiva búsqueda de huevos se centra en la exploración tranquila y la diversión, para que todos los conejitos se sientan cómodos y bienvenidos. La búsqueda de huevos de este año tendrá lugar en el interior, recorriendo los pasillos de Wistariahurst. Si el tiempo lo permite, los juegos y actividades al aire libre añadirán un toque de diversión «extra» al evento. Cada niño podrá recoger huevos e intercambiarlos por premios que van desde dulces hasta juguetes antiestrés. ¡No lo pienses más y regístrate para una de las franjas horarias disponibles! La inscripción es gratuita y se puede realizar en la página de Eventbrite de Wistariahurst.

Las familias pueden inscribirse para una entrada con horario asignado, con el fin de garantizar un registro fluido entre las 14:00 y las 16:00 horas del domingo 4 de abril. Las familias pueden disfrutar de la búsqueda de huevos en cualquier momento dentro de su franja horaria, y cada franja estará limitada a 10 familias. Si llegas tarde a tu franja horaria, ¡no te preocupes! Animamos a todos los inscritos a que asistan aunque lleguen tarde. Las familias también pueden explorar los jardines y disfrutar de juegos al aire libre, si el tiempo lo permite, durante el evento.
