Sensory Friendly 4th of July Fireworks Viewing Party
About this Event
The Fourth of July is a great time to celebrate with family and friends, but it is a holiday that can be isolating for our sensitive community members, and fireworks can be challenging.
We hope to provide a safe, inclusive space for our community to participate in the sensory magic of this day. We will have fun activities, free hot dogs and burgers off the grill and all the fixins. Bring a picnic or just come to see the fireworks!
- Fireworks start at 9:30 PM
- Great view of the fireworks
- Fun activities
- Free burgers and hotdogs with vegetarian and GF options
- Noise-reducing headphones available
Join us for dinner, bring a picnic, or just come to see the fireworks! We have a great view of the City of Aurora fireworks display and will reserve a viewing area behind the store. Fireworks can be seen from our Community Room or from the field and parking lot outside. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for the field or parking lot. The Sensory Cave will be open, the Sensory Bus will be on site for anyone who needs a break, and noise-reducing headphones will be available.
