Get ready for an incredible afternoon dedicated entirely to smooth, expressive SILC dancing at the stunning Chiesman Pavilion, overlooking the beautiful Kent Cricket Ground! 🏏

📅 DATE: Sunday, 4th October 2026
🕛 WORKSHOP: 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM
🎶 FREESTYLE: 2:30 PM - 6:00 PM
📍 WHERE: Kent County Cricket Club, The Spitfire Ground St. Lawrence, Canterbury, CT1 3NZ
💷 FREESTYLE TICKETS: £10 Advance | £14 On the door
🕺 The Workshop (Midday - 2:00 PM)
Whether you are a seasoned dancer or looking to try something new, this 2-hour workshop is designed for ALL abilities! Special guest teachers Greg Urch & Lynn Toyton from Ceroc Surrey will introduce the SILC syllabus from scratch. It is the perfect opportunity to dive in and master the SILC style. £20pp
🎧 The Freestyle (2:30 PM - 6:00 PM)
Following the workshop, dance the afternoon away with 3½ hours of the very best SILC music! Your soundtrack will be provided by Ceroc Canterbury's own Harry Newton alongside guest DJ Steve Jarvis, setting the ultimate vibe for a relaxed, expressive afternoon on the floor. £10pp book in advance. £14pp pay on the door.
🥂 The Venue
The Chiesman Pavilion is gorgeous! Enjoy spectacular views across the cricket pitch, large bi-fold doors opening onto a spacious patio, a fully licensed bar, and plenty of seating to rest your feet. (There's also a Sainsbury's conveniently located next door if you need to grab anything!).
🚗 Travel & Parking
We have ample FREE on-site parking right by the pavilion entrance! We are located just off the A2050 (Sat Nav: CT1 3NZ). Travelling by train? We are only a 10-minute taxi ride from both Canterbury East and Canterbury West stations.
