Calling all LGBTQ seniors! Pride is your time to celebrate Pride San Diego style. We invite you to rediscover San Diego Pride.SENIORS AT PRIDE PARADE SENIOR SEATING
Pride hosts two senior shaded seating areas.
-The southwest corner of University Ave. and Richmond St.
-6th Ave. and Upas St. intersection
Both senior seating areas are wheelchair accessible. Reservations must be made in advance and seats are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. SENIORS AT SAN DIEGO PRIDE FESTIVAL DISCOUNTED TICKETS
Seniors age 65 and older are eligible for day-of discount general admission tickets at $15 with valid identification. Tickets are only available at the festival box office.
SENIOR SUNDAY BREAKFAST
On Sunday, July 17 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, seniors will receive free admission into the festival. Join us from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm for a complementary Senior Sunday Coffee which includes bagels, fruit, and coffee in the Prism: Art, Literacy, and Recovery area.
SENIOR COOL ZONES
Folks age 55 and older are welcome to chill out and rehydrate at our two senior cool zones hosted by San Diego Pride. Senior Cool Zones are found at the following areas:
-The Dan Schaefer Memorial Cool Zone located in the upper loop
-Lower loop festival level
The Dan Schaefer Memorial Cool Zone is named in honor of the long-time Pride and community volunteer who worked passionately and diligently to ensure our LGBTQ seniors had a place to gather, be seen, respected, and have access to LGBTQ competent senior services within the Pride Festival.
