Senior Weatherization Workshop

First 35 attendees will receive a free summer weatherization kit and food!
Brought to you by Citizens' Environmental Coalition (CEC) and Houston Permitting Green Building Resource Center (GBRC) through a CenterPoint grant. In additiona to these organizations, the following organizations will also be on hand to assist and answer questions:
* Sunnyside Community Redevelopment Organization (SCRO)
* Coalition for Environment, Equity & Resiliene (CEER)

CEC will provide a handouts display of windows, doors and other areas of a home that you can inexpensively and easily weatherize to keep hot air out during the summer. We will also share how to prepare for disasters such as flooding and high winds. CenterPoint has funding options and CEER can lead you to other funding options to pay for your home's weatherization. SCRO will help you find many other resources available to you in Sunnyside.
