Calling all nature-loving seniors! ??Join us for free Wednesday hikes through the beautiful Rum Village Woods! This event is specially designed for those 55 years and older, so feel free to share with a senior you know who enjoys a good walk in the woods!
With nearly three miles of scenic, hilly trails right within city limits, you'll experience:
? Majestic old trees
? Beautiful wildflowers
? Fascinating birds and other wildlife
? A touch of local history
Important Tips:
? Wear appropriate footwear – trails can be muddy!
? If too muddy, we'll hike along the park road instead.
Come early to explore the nature center exhibits, observe birds and small mammals in the auditorium, and use the restroom.
? No cost for this program – just bring your love for nature and a spirit of adventure!
