📢 Senior Resource Fair – Friday, May 16, 2025 | 10 AM – 12:30 PMThe Senior Resource Fair provides valuable information and services for seniors, caregivers, and community members seeking resources for active aging and aging in place. This free event features health and wellness resources, senior support services, a special proclamation for Older Americans Month, and complimentary Via rides provided by the City of West Sacramento.
✨ Bonus: Free Shredding! Each participant can bring up to 10 lbs of paper documents to be securely shredded, courtesy of the City of West Sacramento Sustainability Division. ✨
✨ What to Expect:
✅ Senior Support Services – Information on local senior-focused programs and services.
✅ Health & Wellness – Workshops, health screenings, and resources for healthy living.
✅ Older Americans Month Proclamation – A special ceremony honoring the contributions of older adults in our community.
✅ Light Snacks – Enjoy refreshments and network with fellow attendees and community partners.
✅ FREE Via Rides – Courtesy of the City of West Sacramento, get a complimentary Via rideshare to and from the event.

Who is the Senior Resource Fair for? Seniors, caregivers, adult children, and anyone looking for resources related to active aging, aging-in-place, and quality-of-life is welcome.
Community Center Parking
Turn onto Merkley Ave, and use the parking lot entrance at the Arthur F. Turner Yolo County Library. Continue through the parking lot. The Community Center parking lot will be on the right.
Additional Parking
There is limited street parking along West Capitol Ave. Visitors may use the City Hall and Community Center parking lots. Please use the crosswalks. The front entrance along West Capitol and Merkley is locked. Enter on the south side of the building next to the Community Center parking lot.
