Things are moving fast everywhere you look. Navigating the constant flow of information can feel daunting but staying informed shouldn’t be. In an effort to foster clarity and connection, the Wyandotte/Leavenworth Area Agency on Aging in collaboration with some community partners is launching a series of listening sessions that are intended to keep our 60+ population in the know about matters that may impact their daily lives. Each session will feature guest speakers from local organizations to discuss updates on projects, programs, and resources. A Q&A session will follow each presentation, giving the attendees an opportunity to ask questions and share feedback.
The Wyandotte/Leavenworth Area Agency on Aging is launching a new presentation series! If you are looking to broaden your understanding of the changes happening in Wyandotte County, then join us for the Senior Impact Series.
Starting on August 28, we will be hosting multiple talks with guest speakers to inform the public on updates and changes to projects and services in our community.
The first presentation on August 28th will be on the Indian Springs-Midtown Station Project, given by Eastside Innovation Kansas from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The second presentation will be on BPU on September 25 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Both events will take place at the Area Agency on Aging location at 849 N. 47th Street, Suite B, KCK, 66102.
