Senior FUN FEST set to CELEBRATE Older Americans Month in May! Tickets cover snacks, lunch, entertainment, games and activities and door prizes.
For the first time since 2019, pre-COVID-19, TARCOG and the Madison County Commission will host a regional party for DeKalb, Jackson, Limestone, Madison and Marshall counties to celebrate Older Americans Month in May.
The 37th annual event will be held Tuesday, May 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
On Friday, May 10, TARCOG Executive Director Michelle Jordan announced because of forecasted rain, the celebration will be indoors and held at the Alabama A&M University Agribition Center, 4925 Moores Mill Road, Huntsville.
It will be the first time in the the event's 37 years that it will not be held at Sharon Johnston Park in New Market.
Tickets may be purchased at the event for $7.
