Senior Chef Showdown, Inc is a 501c3 that hosts fundraisers for non-profits that benefit seniors in the Central Florida area. This year's event, Senior Chef Showdown 2024, is being held at The Venue on Lake Lily on September 25 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. Senior Chef Showdown 2024 will feature chefs from 10 of the top senior living communities in the Central Florida competing for the Senior Cup and the judge's trophy. Senior Chef Showdown 2024 is made possible by sponsorships from businesses that have an interest in promoting a fantastic event while helping local chapters of Brain Fitness Academy. The Brain Fitness Academy is a program for individuals living with mild to moderate dementia with the goal of slowing down cognitive decline through mental and physical exercises. The three chapters of Brain Fitness Academy that are benefiting from Senior Chef Showdown 2024 are First United Methodist Church of Winter Park, Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church of Greater Orlando in Maitland and Stetson University in DeLand. Sponsorships will help cover the cost of the venue, soft drinks, beer, wine from Tim's Wine Market, table covers, awards, photographer and other costs associated with starting up a 501c3 and hosting a wonderful event such as Senior Chef Showdown 2024.
