For young people in Year 9 and above from York and North Yorkshire with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities to explore post-16 options in education or employment. Speak to approximately 30 education providers, employers and support services including Ad Astra, Aldwark Manor Estate, Askham Bryan College, Better Connect, Blueberry Academy, Brunswick Nursery, Choose 2 Youth, JCT600, Lighthouse Futures Trust, NHSE Choices College, North Yorkshire Council, Preparing for Adulthood, Prospects/Shaw Trust, Simpson Construction, Tang Hall Smart, York College, York Learning Routes2Success, United Respose and more.
Access advice and guidance from Preparation for Adulthood and Specialist Learning and Employment Adviser teams. DWP Disability Services will also be there covering areas such as Access to Work, Personal Independence Payment (PIP) and Disability Living Allowance (DLA) for children.
Sessions and activities include Supported Internships, Green Screen Effects and Digital Skills.
