Tell Senator Sinema: Arizona families are counting on you to make the new monthly Child Checks permanent!On September 15, thanks to the new Child Tax Credit (CTC), millions of families across the country will get their third monthly check of up to $300 per child. These payments are a gamechanger for parents across the country -- already cutting child poverty by 25% after just two months!
The bad news is that unless Congress acts, monthly Child Checks will end in December of this year. But families everywhere are struggling to make ends meet, and are mobilizing to make sure Democrats in Congress act to keep the payments coming.
In Phoenix, we'll be coming together outside Senator Sinema's office to urge her to vote to make Child Checks permanent as part of the reconciliation package currently being debated in Congress. We'll be delivering thank you notes from parents across the state that urge the Senator to make sure this lifeline for families isn't taken away.
