SEMINAR:
When Caregiving Feels Hard
Tools to Restore Calm, Connection and Compassion
Caring for children—whether as a parent, teacher, counselor, or caregiver—can sometimes feel heavier than we ever expected. Many find themselves exhausted, disconnected, or simply pushing through the day. This seminar offers hope and practical guidance for those moments.
Join Lisa Qualls, TBRI® Practitioner, parent coach, retreat leader, and co‑author of The Connected Parent, Reclaim Compassion, and Healing for Every Heart in Adoption. Drawing from her professional expertise and lived experience as a mother of twelve children by birth and adoption, Lisa provides gentle, research‑supported tools to help caregivers understand blocked care, how to use simple tools to calm the nervous system, rebuild connection, and rediscover compassion and joy in their relationships with children.
• Saturday, October 17, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Hillcrest Church
• Cost is $20 (includes workbook)
• We're sorry but we're unable to offer childcare
• Bring your lunch or wander down to Fairhaven for a bite to eat during the break
• 7 Training Hours available for Licensed Caregivers
Register: https://hcbellingham.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/3524278
