About this Event
We warmly welcome ILA members, students, legal practitioners, academics, and anyone interested in international law to attend this free seminar and networking evening to celebrate our second year of operation.
Seminar: International Parental Child Abduction & the Hague Convention
At the seminar, experts will discuss their work on cases involving the abduction by parents of children from Australia to overseas. They will explain how the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction applies in these situations, and outline the role of International Social Service Australia when abductions occur. The seminar will conclude with an audience Q&A.
