SEMINAR Class: Come When Called, FRIDAY, NOV 15, 12:15-3:45 pm
This half day class is for puppies & young dogs who need a little extra help in training a happy recall (calling your dog). A reliable recall can save your dog's life. A “stay” is not required but can be helpful. Not intended for competition obedience training, but may be useful. As the class proceeds, we add distance and distractions, as we teach you to teach your dog. Dogs must be on a flat buckle or martingale collar. No head halters, choke chains, or slip leads. Up to two handlers per dog allowed in ring. Bring lots of high value treats and especially a favorite toy, if your dog has one.
This class will allow students to choose between a working spot (handler and dog) or an audit spot (observe and participate, but without your dog). More details to follow!
Working spots: Limit 5
Audit spots: 10 (do not bring your dog)
Cost: Audit: Free for platinum pass holders, others $20. Working: $40 for platinum pass holders, others $60.
