Under extreme conditions of high magnetic fields, electrical and thermal transport methods can reveal the rich quantum states and phase transitions in quantum materials caused by various elementary excitations. In this talk, several transport studies conducted by my group under high magnetic field conditions will be introduced: (1). Using the transverse thermoelectric effect (Nernst effect) and pressure conditions in pulsed high magnetic fields, we have revealed the BCS-BEC phase transition of high magnetic field-induced excitonic insulators in three-dimensional low-carrier materials-graphite [1]. (2). The first to establish the experimental pattern and application of the anomalous transverse thermal and electrical transport response of topological electrons in magnetic topological materials and their topological properties [2]. (3). We discovered a significant thermal Hall effect (THE) in non-magnetic solid elemental black phosphorus, as well as the universality between the longitudinal and transverse thermal conductivities of phonon THE materials. The planar Hall effect phenomenon and its angular dependence can be explained by the torque exerted by the magnetic field on the dipole moment of heat-carrying phonons as the driving force for THE; And we found the sizeable phonon THE have a thermodynamic correlation in NiPS3, which may be due to the intrinsic effect caused by the hybridization of magnon and phonon bands. [3]I will also briefly introduce our Wuhan National High Magnetic Field Center.
