SEMHAC’s Integrated Planning Retreat

The Southeastern Michigan HIV/AIDS Council (SEMHAC) cordially invites you to attend a two-day planning retreat to help develop its five year Integrated Plan to improve the continuum of HIV prevention and care services in the Detroit Eligible Metropolitan area. The Detroit EMA encompasses the counties of Lapeer, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, St. Clair, and Wayne (including the city of Detroit).

Two-day in-person Integrated Planning Retreat to review data, work with others, and develop draft goals and strategies in four key areas:

1. Diagnose all people with HIV as early as possible [HIV testing]

2. Treat people with HIV rapidly and effectively [HIV care]

3. Prevent new HIV transmissions by using proven interventions

4. Respond quickly to potential HIV networks to get needed prevention and treatment services to people who need them

We hope that you can attend both days. We recognize, however, that time is limited, so if you can only attend one day, please select the day of most interest.
