Our 24th Annual Original Community Theatre Musical!
Every year, our original trilingual productions — English, Spanish, and Taíno — bring Boricua history to life through music, dance, action, and adventure, celebrating heroes whose stories deserve to be remembered.
And this year's journey is just beginning...
This summer, Kacike Tekina-eirú travels to Puerto Rico to begin the research and writing that will become this year's original production. From mountain communities to historical archives, this year's journey will explore forgotten chapters of Boricua history—including the Indigenous roots that continue to shape Puerto Rico today.
This year's production will feature:
🎶 Original Jíbaro, Salón, Afro-Boricua Plena & Bomba, and Taíno music
⚔️ Boricua Warrior Arts (Cocobalé) featuring traditional longstick and machete choreography
💃 Original music, dance, and storytelling inspired by the history, culture, and spirit of Puerto Rico
