Semana Latina: Día de Méndez

The signature event of the Stanford Latinx Law Students Association (SLLSA), Día de Méndez is the culmination of a week of celebration of latinidad at the law school. The event takes place in Canfield Court in a tent with a dinner and includes a keynote speaker. Following the reception and dinner, Día de Méndez continues as a party in Crocker with mariachis, dancers, empanadas, and churros.

It is a SLLSA tradition to celebrate Stanford Law's janitorial and service workers at Semana Latina every May.We would love to show our appreciation to the workers who have kept our institution running for the past three years, and who continue to do so much to support our learning and teaching. All donations will be split amongst the custodial staff in the law school buildings as well as the staff at the Law Cafe. GoFundMe Link
