On Sunday, December 14, 2025, the Whirling Dervishes of the Mevlevi Order of America will present the Sema Ceremony of Hope. The event features the prayer dancing of the Whirling Dervishes, a ceremony presented as it has been for over 800 years. In their traditional felt hats and flowing white garments, turners whirl in unison, attuning to the music of the heart. Trained musicians will offer the centuries-old classical devotional Turkish music journey.
SEATING IS LIMITED. $25 ADVANCE TICKETS ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Remaining tickets will be available at the door (2:30PM - cash only) for $30 General. Students over 11 years old and Seniors (with ID) $20 at the door only on the day of the event.
Doors open at 2:30PM. Ceremony begins at 3pm. Please arrive early, & be settled in, so that this sacred ceremony may begin in stillness without the distraction of late arrivals.
