After some help from some friends (Kim and Heather) we have it nailed down.
1. Arrive Friday 4:00 (check in). We will have some food and drinks in the hospitality suite. Dinner on your own.
2. Saturday Morning Meeting and Breakfast in the Conference Center. Yes, breakfast is included with your room, so those of you up with the sun can grab a danish and coffee. The joy of breakfast together is we get to see everyone first thing. See old friends and make plans for the afternoon and dinner. We hope to have a slide show (so find those pictures in the shoebox), take class pictures and random shots of the group and just have fun. We have the space for 4 hours so a great way to start the day.
3. Afternoon take your free passes to historic Williamsburg and hit the local shops or arrange groups to go to the outlets.
4. Dinner is on your own. If you want to get a group together I suggest making a reservation. We took our family about 5 years ago, we had 12 people and restaurants were great to work with us.
5. The hospitality suite will open at 4pm, so please come over. We will have hot food (could be a light dinner, if you like) wine and beer. The hotel asks that all alcohol remains in the suite.
6. Breakfast down in the hotel Sunday morning. I am sure we will all see each other and grab some more pics before we say good bye at 11am (check out)
7. I was able to get a room block with the rate of $159. With AAA and AARP, it will help cover the taxes and resort fee. Here is the link to make your reservation:
