The ‘in person’ festival is being held on Sunday 26th April 2026 at The Holiday Inn, on the corner of New Road / Aston Clinton Road, Aylesbury HP22 5QT.There will be also be a bookshop at this venue for authors to sell their books… and receive 100% of the agreed cover price. Any card fees will come out of ticket sales.
The Self-Pub Fest has been created by Aylesbury author, tutor, mentor, WI/U3A speaker, blogger, podcaster Morgen Bailey. Other than running a short ‘ideas & inspiration’ workshop at 1pm and being on a general Q&A panel thereafter, she will be overseeing the day, ensuring everything runs smoothly, along with a small army of volunteers. She/they will be taking photographs which will then be shared on social media and posted on this site.
The panels will consist of the following genres:
10am: Children’s panel
11am: Crime panel
12pm: Historical panel
1pm: Morgen will be hosting a short workshop on ideas and inspiration followed by a Q&A panel session on anything writing related
2pm: Non-fiction panel
3pm: Poetry and short stories
4pm: Romance/women’s fiction
5pm: Science-fiction, fantasy and horror
