About this Event
In a world that constantly demands our time, energy, and attention, Self-Love Sundays were created as a sacred space for individuals and families to slow down, reconnect, heal, learn, and grow together.
Hosted by The Love Project Movement and community partners, Self-Love Sundays combine wellness, personal development, family engagement, entrepreneurship, and community connection in a welcoming environment where everyone belongs. The Love Project Community Clubhouse is a neighborhood gathering place and resource center for the people of the Buckeye neighborhood and beyond.
Many of us spend so much time taking care of work, children, responsibilities, and others that we forget to take care of ourselves.
Self-love is not selfish—it is necessary. Healthy individuals create healthy families, and healthy families create healthy communities. When we intentionally carve out time for self-love and family connection, we:
• Reduce stress and burnout
• Strengthen family relationships
• Improve mental and emotional wellness
• Discover our gifts and passions
• Build healthier communities
• Create opportunities for healing and growth
• Model healthy habits for our children
Over three hours from 1-4pm on Sunday, come on a mini retreat with us to truly care for and nurture yourself, leaving more refreshed and ready for the week ahead.
This Sunday is brought to you by two seasoned wellness professionals guiding you in a yoga, breathwork and mindfulness experience with a sound bath; Morgan Morgan and Moyra Michelle.
Morgan Morgan will be guiding you in a Vinyasa Yoga experience suitable for all levels but primarily aimed towards beginner to intermediate. Vinyasa yoga is a style of yoga where you move continuously from one pose to the next, syncing every movement with your breath. Instead of holding static poses for a long time, you "flow" at a steady pace. It functions as a moving meditation that builds strength, flexibility, and mindfulness.
Morgan is a Restorative and Vinyasa Yoga instructor and wellness facilitator who believes yoga is more than movement—it’s a pathway to balance, presence, and transformation. Having discovered yoga over a decade ago during a pivotal time in her own life, she now shares its benefits with others through practices designed to restore energy, reduce stress, and support overall well-being. Her classes encourage students to find calm in the midst of chaos and reconnect with their innate sense of purpose.
Moyra Michelle will be guiding you through a Conscious Connected Breathwork experience. Conscious Connected Breathing is a deep and fast paced style of breathing that pushes you out of your comfort zone and into where all the best growth happens. Massive transformation can occur when you face these old discomforts while in a safe and peaceful environment. It is a practice of release and reset, working on the emotional, the mental, the physical and spiritual dimensions to restore you back to wholeness. People describe it as '20 years of therapy without saying a word'.
IMPORTANT: Breathwork is NOT RECOMMENDED for everyone. Contraindications include cardiovascular problems, neurological problems including epilepsy and seizures, severe mental illness, pregnancy, persons recovering from recent surgeries or fractures. If in doubt you can ask Moyra when you arrive and accomodations can be made. More Information and FAQ at www.moyramichelle.com/breathwork-for-healing.
Moyra Michelle is a Hypnotherapist and Trauma Healer as well as a Breathwork Facilitator. She believes we are born whole and it is our life's work is to come back to that awareness and live lives rooted in dignity and personal power. Her work is guided by the innate intelligence of the body and soul while cultivating a healthy mind amidst the chaos. She is a native of Ireland and has called Cleveland home since 2011. She works out of her healing studio in Lakewood and lives in Cleveland's near West Side.
This will be followed by a Soundbath of healing frequencies. No bathing suit required, you will be bathed in healing sound instead. It is a deeply relaxing, meditative experience where you lie down and let soothing sounds 'wash over' you while Moyra and Morgan play sound healing instruments that help integrate your healing and relaxing experience. In short, you lay there and do absolutely nothing but enjoy the sounds.
How can you prepare?
- Wear something loose fitting and comfortable to move and breath in.

What people are saying
"I had no idea what to expect when Moyra invited me to her breathwork class, but I definitely didn't expect to have that big of a release. Stuck energy releases itself in your physical body and you get to move it up and out. She did a beautiful job facilitating this transformational experience, guiding me through and making me feel safe. There's no great way to explain it, you must experience it for yourself and you WILL feel lighter and freer." ~ Krissy A
"I worked through layers of thoughts and sensations in my body. The breath technique helped me to be with the waves of experience. I felt afraid, grateful, nervous and safe... I felt I knew it was all ok .Truly a beautiful release - So Grateful" ~ Lynette R
"Wow! This is not at all what I expected from yesterday's breathwork class, it is so much more than that!!! I released old trauma that I thought was gone but obviously not. If you're looking to transform your lift and heal old wounds without years of talk therapy - you must experience one of Moyra Michelle's breathwork sessions. You will blown away by how life changing it is" ~ Liza S
"Lately I've been searching for a breathwork experience to help me feel good and open my heart to new experiences. Moyra Michelle guided me and our group to open the belly, open the heart and breath through the mouth. While the technique may sound simple, the practice of it invited me to a higher release and to peace. Thank you Moyra, I am excited to do this again with you and go even deeper" ~ Rita A
