Self-Love and Self-Care Journaling Class with Emily Chertow x Showfields

This Journaling Class is an opportunity for embracing YOU and stepping into the love we have for ourselves.

This space is an opportunity to dig deeper and explore the work we are doing to embrace who we are, unlearn negative thoughts, and make the most of what we have yet to become.

Lean in with me as we explore what self-love really means, work to fully accept ourselves, and discover how we can truly recognize our worth.

During our time together I will lead us through prompts centered around this topic of self-love and give us the space to learn more about ourselves while connecting with others.

It is a perfect opportunity for all levels. It's a great space for those who are looking to be intentional as we wrap up the new year, who are looking for connection with self and others, who would like to take the space to truly reflect and dig deep, or who are looking to find some cool new nuggets on the act of pen to paper.

In addition, we've brought in @happysmilestattoo to make a custom flash set of tattoo doodles focused around self-care/self-love and different slogans Emily shares during journaling classes. All tats will be fine line black and white outline :) Tattoos are option and priced separately.

This is an event that is inclusive and all are welcome!

What you can expect:

About your hosts:

Emily Chertow, she/her, is the founder of @journalingclasses. She is a Brooklyn-based creative often spending time in parks with friends and coffee shops with her journal. Emily is passionate about advocating for mental health, human connection and the power of putting pen to paper.

Hannah Haag, is registered nurse by day and, self-taught tattoo artist by night, photographer and cat mom. She began her photography business at age 12, and has always dreamt of creating a collective to display her talents and spread my beautiful image of the world. Hannah started @happysmilestattoo to create, well, happy smiles from my art. Her goal is to help people feel empowered, whether it be in the hospital as a patient or in her studio as a client.
