Self Harm Training- Multi Agency, ABERDEEN CITY (in person)

This training session is free and open to any professionals who work within Aberdeen City. This event will be of particular interest to those supporting people who may be at risk of self harm.

The training course is designed to enhance understanding and increase the confidence of participants, in a non-judgemental setting. Our highly experienced facilitators will be able to answer any questions, and you will receive further resources once you have completed the training.

The training session will cover:

• What is self harm?
• The science
• Why do people self harm?
• The self harm cycle
• How to have the conversation
• Harm minimisation approach
