About this Event

The Morris-Jumel Mansion Museum, the oldest remaining house in Manhattan, is a historic house (built in 1765) that preserves, collects, and interprets history, culture, and the arts to explore inclusive narratives that engage and inspire diverse audiences. There are eight period rooms on display, including the room George Washington used as his office during the American Revolution and the room where Lin-Manuel Miranda composed parts of Hamilton.

Masks are required to enter the museum.

Tickets for self-guided visits of the museum will guarantee timed museum entry on the day of booking with slots available at 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00 pm. Self-guided tours are projected to last approximately 45 minutes to one-hour.
