About this Event
Move. Notice. Understand.
Most physical practices focus on performance; doing more, pushing harder, achieving better results.
Self Enquiry Through Movement takes a different approach.
In this experiential session, movement becomes a question rather than a task. Through guided prompts and reflective pauses, participants explore how they relate to effort, stress, and internal dialogue while engaging in accessible physical practice.
Instead of avoiding challenge, moments of exertion become opportunities to observe patterns, cultivate awareness, and consciously choose how to respond.
The result is a deeper understanding of the connection between body, mind, and behaviour under pressure.
What you’ll experience
This guided session blends mindful movement with reflective inquiry to help you develop greater awareness of your responses to effort and challenge.
Throughout the practice, you will explore:
• Mindful physical exercises designed to build body awareness
• Guided prompts that invite reflection during movement
• How effort and discomfort shape internal dialogue
• Practices that cultivate values such as patience, courage, and self-compassion
• Techniques for responding to stress with greater intention
By reframing exertion as an opportunity for inquiry, participants begin to develop emotional regulation, mental clarity, and a more conscious relationship with challenge.
Who this session is for
This session may resonate if you:
• Are curious about the mind–body connection
• Want to explore how you respond to stress or physical challenge
• Are interested in movement practices that support self-awareness and personal growth
• Prefer experiential learning rather than purely theoretical approaches
• Are open to using movement as a pathway for reflection
No prior experience is required. Movements are accessible and adaptable for different levels.
Meet your practitioner
Allan Ng
Allan’s work was shaped through contrast.
Forged in the discipline and adversity of high-level combat sports, his early journey demanded grit, endurance, and relentless physical refinement. Yet through injury, burnout, and the quiet moments between competition, he recognised a deeper truth: performance without awareness is unsustainable.
This realisation led Allan beyond traditional athletic training into the fields of psychology, mental toughness, and human development. Today, his work integrates structured physical training with breathwork, visualisation, emotional regulation, and mindset development.
Allan’s methodology bridges somatic practice with cognitive insight, helping individuals move beyond surface-level performance toward deeper clarity, presence, and resilience.
His mission is simple yet profound: to elevate the quality of the human experience, through the body, the mind, and the spaces in between.
