SELF DESIGNS ART GALLERY COURTYARD CONCERT W/ KENDRA DANTES, AJ KELLEY...

Join us for our Courtyard Concert on Second Saturday on October 8th, 2022 for a community enriching celebration of the arts complete with the finest live performances from local singers, poets, woodwind, string and key instrumentalists! This week featuring amazing live performances by Kendra Dante, Yvette Couvson, Antwon Vinnie and Chuck Mullen! This is a Covid-safe event for all ages, so please feel free to bring chairs as the seating area and tables will be first come first serve.

ALL GUESTS MUST ARRIVE AT THE GALLERY FOR CHECK-IN PRIOR TO BEING ESCORTED TO THE MAIN COURTYARD. DOORS OPEN AT 4PM FOR GUESTS TO RECEIVE COMPLIMENTARY BEVERAGES ALONG WITH A TOUR OF THE GALLERY. CONCERT BEGINS AT 6PM.

In the 1801L street courtyard located behind Saigon Alley, you will enjoy access to live music, amazing wire sculptures, historical artworks, handmade jewelry and acrylic pour paintings by incredible local artists! Many items will be available for purchase during the event in efforts to support the artists of the Self Designs Art Gallery.

This is the perfect place to find unique custom gifts which truly make a difference in the lives of your community! Come meet the artists from 4:00pm - 6:00pm and enjoy live performances from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. We kindly encourage everyone to stay safe and healthy by practicing social distancing, masks are optional. Kendra Dantes is a 19-year-old singer Songwriter from our very own backyard of Sacramento. Although Kendra started her music journey on the violin at age 7, she soon discovered her undeniable affinity for piano, ukulele and guitar. Kendra has powerfully merged her love for reading with her passion for songwriting. Her original songs range from love ballads and songs about friendship to hauntingly cinematic and dark music, reflecting the characters in her favorite books. She is over the moon about her newly released EP of 5 book inspired songs entitled "Eye of the Storm". She has amassed over a million streams on Spotify (and YouTube). And her dreams of getting her music on TV came true with the premiere of Netflix's Season 06 Episode 01 of "Lucifer".

Her latest release "Ruthless" with her partner Nino Tosco is out now as part of a very special 10-year Grishaverse celebration album called "Sinners and Saints" by the Bookish Songs Collective.
