About Your Instructor

Luis Sevilla Levy, a highly decorated martial artist with over 25 years of experience and numerous accolades, leads El Dojo and is well-regarded on the East Coast for his leadership in multiple schools. Originally from Managua, Nicaragua, Luis moved to Miami at a young age, where he learned the values of humility and hard work that would later shape his martial arts career. Despite initial financial constraints, Luis' passion for martial arts led him to impress the local community. Eventually, through persistence and determination, he founded El Dojo in 2021 with the help of his wife, Lissete, who handles all of the operational functions of the business. At El Dojo, Luis continues to share his expertise and inspire students of all ages.

The program:

El Dojo offers martial arts programs tailored for children aged 3 years old to adults. We introduce self-defense basics at all ages while instilling discipline and the importance of following rules in a fun-filled and safe environment. El Dojo provides classes that delve deeper into martial arts, introducing various self-defense styles, fostering positive habits, and developing problem-solving skills necessary to progress toward earning a black belt. Students of all skill levels are welcome in the program, from beginners to advanced practitioners.
