We’re kicking off the first Self Care Sunday of 2025 with something extra special—a soulful morning of literary expression, movement, and community. Tap into your creative side, lace up your sneakers, and come vibe with us.

🌿 Morning Mic & Spoken Word
Before we hit the pavement, we’re opening up the space for words that move us. We’re honored to have Jeneé Osterheldt and U-Meleni Mhlaba-Adebo bless the mic with powerful spoken word performances in celebration of Black History Month. And if you’ve got words to share, we’re inviting YOU to sign up and take the mic (5-minute limit per speaker).

🏃🏾‍♀️ Run, Walk, or Just Be
After we feed our minds and spirits, we’ll move our bodies with a 3-mile run, a 1.5-mile walk, or a ‘vibe out’ option—because self-care looks different for everyone.

☕ Post-Run Community Chill
We’ll return to JustBook-Ish to refuel, connect, and support a local Black-owned bookstore with coffee, bites, and shopping. Because community is everything.
