Self Care Saturday: Grief, Loss & Healing
About this Event
Join Black Girl Joy for a restorative half-day workshop created to help you navigate grief in all its forms.
While grief is often associated with the death of a loved one, it can also stem from divorce, estrangement, caregiving, career changes, financial hardship, trauma, health challenges, lost opportunities, or the life you imagined but never had.
Facilitated by licensed therapist Regina Bass of Speak Easy Mental Health, this intimate workshop combines guided meditation, reflective writing, meaningful discussion, and practical coping tools in a safe, supportive, and culturally affirming space.
Together, we'll honor what we've lost, acknowledge its impact, and explore healthy ways to move forward with hope and resilience. Healing doesn't mean forgetting—it means giving yourself permission to grieve while creating space for growth.
Registration includes lunch, workshop materials, and an intentionally small-group experience that encourages connection, reflection, and community.
