Join us for the Barbara Jordan Leadership Institute's Self-Care Forum, where we dive deep into the impact of fibroids on our health and wealth. In partnership with the Fibroid Institute Texas, we’re proud to lead the Texas Fibroid Awareness Month Campaign, addressing a critical health issue affecting many women, especially within Black communities.We're hosting panels and roundtable discussions for women affected by uterine fibroids to share their experiences and find community support. Our discussions will cover the physical, mental, emotional, and financial aspects of living with fibroids, including preparing for procedures and financial planning.
We ask attendees to bring a period product to be donated to a Title 1 high school, pantry, or shelter. Your contribution will help support those in need.
