Self-Care for Youth Development Professionals

This one session workshop focuses on effective strategies to combat compassion fatigue and burnout prevalent in the helping fields such as youth work. Self-care refers to intentional action towards addressing the emotional impact of secondary trauma and stress. This session will explore research-based practices and strategies that strengthen individual approaches in stress reduction while identifying individual self-care strategies to enhance resilience.
