Join us at Webb's Mount Eden Gallery to view the Select art auction catalogue, on view from 16—22 June with the launch event taking place on Saturday 20 June from 11am—12pm.
The exhibition brings together the complete, hand-picked catalogue, including a significant grouping of Māori artists across generations: Emily Karaka, Hira Anderson-Mita, Star Gossage, Aroha Gossage, Ralph Hotere, Fiona Pardington, Reuben Paterson, Sandy Adsett, Shane Cotton, Peter Robinson, and Robin White.
Also on view: an early Philip Trusttum oil painting, conceptual works from the Estate of L. Budd, and also by American artist Terry Fox, among many other collectable works by emerging, topical, and established artists from Aotearoa and beyond.
On Saturday 20 June, gallerist Tim Melville will join Webb's specialist Georgina Brett for a kōrero focusing on contemporary Māori women artists represented in this unmissable catalogue.
