Klub 007 Strahov Prague - 23rd April 2026Seldom Pretty began in early 2024 as the solo project of singer & bassist David Paulis, who expanded its formation to include the guitar work of Marco Beiato and Francesco Bressan on drums.
The band’s forthcoming self-titled album, produced in collaboration with Enrico Baraldi (Vacuum Studio), and Claudio Adamo (Fonoprint studios), combines alternative rock, post-punk and industrial influences into an ineffable blend of raw energy.
The idea behind the creation of the album, according to Paulis, is to communicate human emotion and the
imprint of lasting experiences through concise, efficient lyrics and unpretentious, visceral soundscapes.

CosmoBrigade is a four-piece post-punk/darkwave outfit forged in Prague in January 2023.
Bursting onto the local scene just two months later, they quickly gained momentum across
the Czech Republic. By August 2023, their debut EP SpacePit had dropped—earning
critical acclaim throughout Europe, including a "Track of the Day" nod from Italy’s White
Light//White Heat Magazine and appearances on several German darkwave compilations
such as The Berlin Gravedigger’s Club.
In the fall of 2023, CosmoBrigade embarked on their first EU tour, haunting stages across
the Czech Republic, Berlin, Vienna, and Poland. Since then, they’ve shared stages with
genre heavyweights like She Past Away, Soviet Soviet, Ploho, City Gates and House of
Harm. Their rising momentum has secured them slots at major European goth festivals,
including Prague Gothic Treffen and Germany’s iconic NCN Festival.
Their debut full-length album, Hollow Obsessions, dropped on June 6, 2025 via Dark
Dimensions Label Group (Germany) and has already been hailed as a standout release in
the modern post-punk scene. The album delves deep into themes of emotional fixations,
societal decay, and nostalgic illusions—fusing cinematic synths with relentless basslines
and haunting vocals.
The record received glowing praise in Sonic Seducer (June 2025 issue), and legendary goth
music journalist Mick Mercer called it “fantastic”—cementing CosmoBrigade’s position as
one of the most exciting new voices in the European darkwave revival.
Tracks from Hollow Obsessions have been featured on several high-profile compilations, including
Resurgence – Spleen by Alfa Matrix (reviewed by Luminous Dash), and Dark Tunes from
the Czech and Slovak Caves Vol. IV.
With a steadily growing international following, CosmoBrigade continues to carve out their
own dystopian sonic universe—equal parts romantic, relentless, and unrelentingly real.
