Welcome to the Seize the Day Warrior Walk in Baton Rouge!We are Epilepsy Alliance Louisiana (EAL), the oldest epilepsy organization in the state, dedicated to supporting people living with epilepsy through direct services, education, and advocacy. Since 1977, we have provided essential community services across Louisiana, reaching thousands of individuals impacted by epilepsy. Our mission is to assist those affected by epilepsy within their communities by addressing the broad spectrum of challenges seizures can bring.
We are excited to host our 22nd Annual Seize the Day event on Saturday, April 18, 2026. This is our biggest fundraising event, dedicated to supporting people with epilepsy. For over 20 years, we’ve featured a 1-mile run/walk, which is now called the "Warrior Walk." To better align with our mission and to honor the strength and courage of those affected by epilepsy, the Warrior Walk will now be a walk-only event and will not be timed.
