Seen/Unseen: Contemporary Approaches to Visibility in Print (Virtual Panel)
About this Event
Galerie Myrtis invites you to join us for a compelling virtual panel centered around the Legacy Print Council’s inaugural portfolio, Beyond the Surface: Exploring Visibility in Print. During the program “Seen/Unseen: Contemporary Approaches to Visibility in Print,” participating artists will discuss their individual approaches to the portfolio theme and examine how ideas of visibility, presence, identity, memory, and perception exist within their personal practices. Through conversation about process, imagery, and conceptual development, the panel offers insight into the layered ways contemporary printmakers engage with what is seen, obscured, revealed, and remembered through print.
The program will conclude with an open Q&A, giving attendees a rare opportunity to connect directly with the artists and learn more about their current and upcoming projects.
The “Seen/Unseen: Contemporary Approaches to Visibility in Print (Virtual Panel)” will take place on Saturday, July 11th from 2:00 - 4:00 pm (EST). This event is free and open to the public. RSVP is required to recieve the viewing link for this virtual program.
