SEEING SOUNDS FESTIVAL WEEK
In Partnership with Lyric Hall Theatre - Directors Cut is a recurring event series created to shine light on the next generation of indie filmmakers, directors, cinematographers, designers & more. Featured artists will show their work and speak about it in front of a live audience. Attendees are invited to ask questions to learn more about the process and intent behind the work. The goal is to give a realistic. view into the process of filmmaking on the indie level. In this way, aspiring artists might learn new methods and acquire resource. that can help them to navigate their own creative path.
Additionally, this is an interactive social space where creative communities can come together and discover one another.

FULL JUNE 28th LINEUP
Natasha “Tata” Hester (NYC) - is a Costume Designer based in New York City. With an extensive background in production – commercials, live events, editorials and music videos, Natasha has worked for the likes of Nile Rodgers and Solange, the latter earning her a design credit on her iconic visual album “When I Get Home.” The recent exploration of her long time passion for narrative storytelling has resulted in back-to-back festival premieres, with “Magic Ring” (NYFF60) for Topic Studios, now “Earth Mama” for A24 (Sundance 2023) as well as “Bone Black: Midwives vs The South” for Tribeca Studios (Tribeca Film Festival 2023).
Isaiah Providence (CT) - is a director and cinematographer from New Haven, CT. He is a passionate director and cinematographer, recently premiering his short film, Clotilda, about a dancer who searches for strength to overcome the trauma that has plagued her people. Isaiah is an aspiring director who aims to create enticing imagery through films that are thought provoking to today’s society.
Antoinette Tomlinson (CT/NYC) - ​​a New York-based Production Sound Mixer, Sound Editor, and Producer. A first-generation Canadian, she earned a bachelor’s degree in recording arts from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida, which deepened both her interest in audio production and her mission to touch people through her work.
3rd Row (LA) - 3rd Row is a multimedia art collective based out of Los Angeles,California. The multidisciplinary group does all music, film and publishing in-house. The collective was founded and launched in 2021.
Jacqueline Brown (CT) (Moderator) - New Haven native, University trained, Actress Jacque Brown has been a part of theater since a young age. She's played roles from Shakespere, Lorraine Hansbury, August Wilson, Ntozake Shange, Sharece M. Sellem, Joy Harris, and A.K. Payne. Jacque's pursuit of acting has landed her on stages in CT, NY, and film sets in ATL. She is an excellent director, produced playwright, dedicated acting coach, and enjoys time outside with nature, with God. She looks forward to her future working as an award winning actress and adding her name to the list of greatest performers of all time

(fka chad browne-springer) is an artist’s artist. A maestro of many disciplines, their work as a musician, singer, songwriter, producer, and designer creates more than a performance, but a full sensory experience. Incorporating ethereal, futuristic, and psychedelic elements into fundamentally grounded artforms like hip hop, metal, and soul, creates a sound that is innovative, intoxicating and refreshing.
