About this Event

Acclaimed filmmaker Tan Pin Pin joins SIPF Festival Director & Curator, Gwen Lee, for an intimate enquiry into a career dedicated to documenting the shifting narratives of memory and place in Singapore. As one of the region’s most distinctive practitioners, Tan’s work navigates the fluid boundaries between lens-based media and cinematic storytelling. This session offers a rare opportunity to engage with her creative instincts and formative turning points through direct dialogue. Join us as we explore the nuances of looking and making with an artist-filmmaker whose practice profoundly shapes our visual understanding of the Singapore landscape.
