Seeing Quintuple is an interdisciplinary project inspired by the cosmic phenomenon of Gravitational Lensing, where light bends and distorts around massive celestial bodies. This project reflects on existence, perception, and transformation through a constellation of five interconnected artistic disciplines: text, sign language, sculpture, virtual reality, and installation.
The installation features the voice of Angelo Custódio, the expressive Dutch sign poetry of Ilse Jobse, and the speculative fiction of André Lourenço. These are brought to life alongside Pedro Matias’s sculptures, Giulia Principe’s immersive VR environment, and Mathilde Renault’s installation design. Tatiana's musical compositions unite all these elements, resonating with the cosmic rhythms and the intricate dance of celestial bodies.
