Get ready for spring planting as OSU Extension Service Master Gardener™, Jorie Helwig, shares information about Starting Seeds Indoors!
Attendees will learn about selecting and storing seeds. Jorie will cover container and seeding media choices, and when and how to sow them. She will also discuss requirements for germination and seedling care.

Jorie Helwig has been serving as an OSU Extension Service Master Gardener™ since 2024. She has also volunteered with the Washington County Master Gardener Association as a photographer, creating drone videos and images of their Education Garden at PCC Rock Creek, as well as updating key publications using her graphical/design skills.
OSU Extension Master Gardeners™ are volunteer educators, neighbors, and on-the-ground researchers who serve their community with solid training in science-based, sustainable gardening and a love of lifelong learning.
