Join us for a hands-on Seed Saving Workshop with the president of Seeds of Diversity. Gather seeds from our gardens to take home.
About this Event

Learn the art and science of seed saving at Doon Heritage Village. Under the guidance of Bob Wildfong, the museum’s Heritage Gardener – an accomplished seed producer and one of Canada’s experts on heritage seeds. Participants will learn how to collect seeds from garden plants, and clean and store them for planting the following spring. Methods for controlling pollination and proper seed harvesting will be demonstrated. Participants will be invited to gather seeds from the museum’s heritage gardens.

$25.00 per person plus HST. Member’s discount applies.
