About this Event
Join us for a magical afternoon at LaBagh Woods to support our beloved forest school. This event is not just for enrolled Wonder Woods families–it’s for anyone who loves forest school. We welcome our alumni, friends, families, and anyone who cares about connecting kids to nature and paving the way for PLAY!
Let's come together to raise scholarship funds for families facing racial, social, and economic barriers to ensure more children can attend Wonder Woods.

While our fundraiser is a ticketed event, we’re happy to offer tiered pricing ($10-$30 per ticket) to help make the gathering more accessible for everyone. While our suggested ticket price is $20 per person, we ask that you consider paying more on the sliding scale if you can. Suggested Family pricing is $60. 100% of proceeds fund scholarships for families who face racial, social, and economic barriers. If the suggested $20 ticket price is a barrier for your family, we hope you will select another price that is right for you. We’d love to see more friends and family in attendance! What to Wear
This is a gala in the woods. Fancy clothes are not necessary! Wear comfy outdoor attire– or if you want to show up spiffy, you can sport western wear for square dancing. (Cowboy hats, boots, western shirts or whatever puts you in a dancing mood!)
What to Bring
Food from Middle Eastern Bakery will be provided (vegetarian and vegan options included) and other sides, sweets, and drinks too, but feel free to bring any special food items you or your family might like. A blanket or camp chair might be a great idea as well, as there isn’t a lot of seating in the pavilion.
Directions/Parking
Our event takes place at LaBagh Woods. Enter off Cicero. Veer right and find us in Grove #3, a pavilion that is on the far side of the field. Look for the big red Wonder Woods van parked nearby! (There will likely be other events going on at the other pavilions, so look for the pavilion closest to the big red van!) Parking spots surround the meadow, and there is more parking in the grove just left at the entrance if all parking spots near our area are full.
Restrooms and Accessibility
LaBagh has a bathroom near the pavilion, which requires a walk across the grass. There are also porta-potties in the area that also require a walk across a grassy meadow. Our pavilion is not wheelchair accessible. Just like our forest school program, this event takes place 100% outdoors. Masks are optional and welcome in our space.
